CANCER AWARENESS FOR AUGUST - August is recognized as Appendix Cancer Awareness Month. It’s a time to raise awareness about these rare cancers and support those affected by them. Pay attention to any changes in your body and see your doctors for proper screenings. The H.O.P.E. Ministry is here to support you if ever you need them.

ATTENTION MINISTRY LEADERS - Nominations for Ministry Leaders in year 2027 are due to be submitted by Sunday, September 6, 2026. Nomination Forms have been placed in each ministry mailbox. Leaders are asked to complete the form and place it in the “New Ministry Leaders” box that is located atop the Forms & Information table. Even if there are no changes for your ministry, a completed form is still required. If you have questions, contact Deacon Dwight Hagans.
2027 CHURCH CALENDAR - Ministry Leaders: to ensure all events, programs, and key dates are included on the 2027 Church Calendar, please submit ministry calendar requests by Sunday, August 30, 2026 using the 2027 Calendar Request Form available atop the Forms & Information table. Place the completed forms in the box labeled “Church Calendar.” If you have any questions, contact Deacon Keith Hales or Deacon Keven Wright.
2BC DEBT REDUCTION – T-SHIRT SALES - T-shirts sales to support 2BC Debt Reduction will take place on the first and second Sundays of each month through December 2026. The cost is $20.00 per t-shirt. 2BC BACK-TO-SCHOOL CELEBRATION - Will take place in the parking lot on Saturday, August 15th, 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. The goal is to have every child leave the event with a backpack containing supplies. Please help us meet this goal by purchasing the gender and grade-level backpack along with school supplies according to the first letter of your last name based on the School Supply List that is located at the designated table in the lobby. Monetary donations are being accepted as well. The deadline for submitting donations is August 1st.
BROAD ROCK FARMERS MARKET - Will open on September 5th and each 1st and 3rd Saturday through October from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Come out and get fresh fruits and vegetables and other goods. You may take advantage of savings offered through EBT and Take-a-Lap programs.

Women's Fellowship - The Ladies of Virtue invite you to join the Women’s Fellowship that will take place on Saturday, September 5th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (and on every first Saturday going forward). Please bring your favorite covered dish to share.
Open Enrollment For Fall 2026 Courses - The Discipleship Development Ministry (DDM) will offer Courses beginning in September 2026. Registration is now open through September 30th!
