Tutors Needed - 2BC is currently seeking volunteers to help tutor elementary to high school students in the following subjects: Math, Science, Language Arts/English and Foreign Languages. We will be conducting background checks on all potential volunteers.

T-Shirt and Pillow Case Dress - The T-Shirt and Pillow Case Dress project has begun. Dresses will be sent to an orphanage in Haiti. Constitution Revision Committee - If you are interested in working on revising and updating our Church Constitution, please notify the church office. The time commitment is 2-4 hours per month and the target date for completion is October 27, 2017. All ages are welcome to participate and young adults are encouraged to volunteer.

Tutoring Program - Free tutoring is being offered for all grades on Tuesdays from 5 to 6 P.M. for help in math or language arts. Please contact Pastor Hodge or the church office to let us know if your child will attend so that the sufficient resources will e available.

Nurturing Parenting - The City of Richmond is offering a 15 week Nurturing Parenting Program beginning April 18th. Pastor Hodge Speaks - Pastor Hodge will be the guest speaker at the retirement ceremony of Rev. Dr. Levy M. Armwood, Jr. of Ebenezer Baptist Church on Sunday, June 25th at 4:00 P.M. All are invited.

National Museum Trip - The Mature Life and The Widows and Friends Ministries are sponsoring a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit The National Museum of African American History and Culture on Tuesday, August 29th. The cost is $35.00 per person with a $15.00 non-refundable deposit due now. All monies are due by July 1st. The bus will leave Second Baptist at 8:00 A.M. and return around 7:00 P.M.
